Hi, I'm Doctor Adapali. I'm a periodontist here at West Shore Periodontist. When I was in dental school, I initially thought I was just going to be a general dentist, kind of do everything. The more I did surgery, the more I had more enjoyment for that stuff. And I really like Perio because you still get to establish relationships with patients. It was kind of a good mix of everything. For someone who's anxious, it's easy to have preconceived notions of what's going to happen. At the end of the day, our job is just to really explain what is going on, and you really don't know what your situation is until you actually come get a consult. The highlight of my day is the mornings when we're doing surgeries, just doing what we love to do. That really puts a smile to my face.

A Foundation in Science and Service
Born in Dayton, OH, Dr. Adapalli’s journey in healthcare began with a deep curiosity for science, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with Honors from the University of Texas at Dallas. It was here that his passion for service truly ignited. He co-founded a chapter of Global Dental Brigades, leading a team to Honduras to provide essential dental and medical care to underserved communities. This experience solidified his love for the profession and his commitment to changing lives.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2019, where he developed a passion for the surgical side of dentistry. Dr. Adapalli then pursued advanced training at Oregon Health & Sciences University, earning a Certificate in Periodontology and Implantology. His master’s thesis focused on cross-contamination with dental implant impression copings, reflecting his meticulous attention to patient safety and clinical excellence.

Dr. Adapalli is thrilled to come full circle back to his home state of Ohio with his fiancée, Ritu, a Cleveland native.
