Hi, I'm Doctor Connors, welcome to West Shore Periodontics and dental implants. Well, periodontist. So he specialized in dental implants and gum disease and and gum grafting and surgical intervention to treat diseased gums. Well, when I started, it was just me from the I expanded my staff grew from 1-2 people to we've had almost 30 people at this point. My staff, I trained them to meet my expectations and you know, they, they help me treat my patients and deliver the best care possible. People don't realize how important dental health is, in particular periodontal health with the connection with, you know, cardiovascular disease, pregnancy, preterm, low term birthday babies. The inflammation in your mouth gets everywhere and you really don't know how important good dental health is, in particular how important it is to have good healthy foundation, good healthy set of teeth so you can chew, function, smile, be confident. You don't really know that until you lose it. You know, I have a very good reputation for a good reason. I treat everybody with the utmost respect, not only for their time but them as a person. We're not going to put you in a position where you're embarrassed to come see me or you feel bad about coming to see me. You know we're going to treat you like I would treat my family. You are AVIP patient every time you come to see me.

Education and Service to Country
Dr. Connors’ path to excellence is defined by a deep commitment to service and education. After earning his degree in chemistry and biology from Ohio University in 2003, he graduated at the top of his class from Rutgers Dental School in 2008.
His passion for helping others led him to serve eight years on active duty in the U.S. Navy. During this time, he completed a General Practice Residency and deployed aboard the USS Harry S. Truman in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, earning multiple commendations for his dedication. He later completed his periodontal residency at the Navy Postgraduate Dental School in 2013. While stationed at Naval Air Station North Island in California, he not only treated service members but also helped to share the future of dentistry by teaching residents, lecturing, and publishing research. After 11 years of active-duty service, he continued his military career with the US Navy reserves serving in Canton, Ohio. He retired after 20 years in July 2025. After his retirement, he has been honored and privileged to serve his country and community.

At Home in Cleveland
While his training has taken him across the country, Dr. Connors is proud to call Cleveland home. He met his wife, Bri, a marketer and reading specialist, during their time at Ohio University. Together they are raising four children.
When he isn’t transforming smiles, you can find Dr. Connors giving back to his community on the field. He enjoys coaching youth sports and is a devoted fan of Cleveland football and baseball. He is now one of Cleveland’s biggest fans! He looks forward to welcoming you to the practice, and helping you achieve a healthier smile.
